Microbridge Software was founded in 1991 by Horace Allison, who began developing and installing computerized accounting systems at Mercury Information Systems in 1988. Over the years, he has acquired extensive personal experience with virtually every type and size of computerized business accounting system and is the proud leader of a competent, qualified, experienced and driven team of professionals and associates.
Microbridge’s evolution has always reflected important market needs . Its beginning as a systems house in 1991 was a direct response to a market where few accounting programs were available for the Jamaican Diasporas. Most applications at the time were found to have lacked the capabilities and flexibility required by the Jamaican market place, and this was becoming increasingly frustrating and unacceptable. Microbridge’s response was to develop software that worked the way the customer works and that changed easily to meet the changing needs of a growing company.
