SMARTPay for Windows provides payroll functions that range from the basic calculation of employee payrolls and tax obligation to generating a number of reports. The main functions of SMARTPay for Windows include the following:

Customized modules of SMARTPay for Windows Application:

Time Keeper Module

Allows for users to record, maintain and report on employee’s time entries. The module offers the user the ability to capture the actual times worked by the employee and then collates these hours to produce a net time to which a rate of pay is applied.

Time Clock Interface

Time Clock Interface module works along with Time Keeper allowing for employee times to be imported. The module allows for the tracking of employee punch times interactively and features an easy to use interface between Time Clock and SMARTPay For Windows.

Bonus/Incentive Payments Projection Module

Allows for the computation of incentive payments projection for employees derived from prior transactions reposed in the application dates.

Cashbook Electronic Interface

Allows for the payroll payment journal to be electronically transferred to any Accounting package of choice through direct handshaking between the Payroll and Cashbook applications.

Consolidated Statutory Returns, Transactional & Managerial Reporting Module

Allows for the reporting of payroll information across multiple payroll datasets for the same organization.

Crystal Reporting Interface Module

Allows for transactional, management regulatory and statutory reports and data extracts to be produced from SMARTPay via Crystal Report Writer.

Excel/CSV Data Importation Module

Enables the importing of formatted payroll entry transactions from an Excel/CSV data format into the SMARTPay Application.

General Ledger Electronic Interface Module

Allows for the periodic payroll journal to be electronically transferred to the Accounting Package of choice via direct handshaking between Payroll and General Ledger.

Income & Statutory Deduction Letter Processing Module

Allows for the generation of income or deduction verification documents on behalf of employees to Statutory Bodies or private beneficiary organizations.

Payroll Multi-Cycle Run Module

Allows for the processing of multiple pay runs within a single payroll cycle while assuming for taxation, standard payments and voluntary deductions relative to one payroll cycle.

Allows for delivery of processed employee payment advice via electronic mail.
